The mix is supplemented with Inavea™, a combination of soluble fibers from the gum of the acacia tree and the fruit of the baobab, two African trees with a rich nutritional value. Dietary fiber: essential part of our diet
The average Western diet is known to be relatively poor in fiber. Dietary fiber is an indigestible carbohydrate for humans, which cannot be broken down by digestive enzymes in the small intestine. Instead, it is (partly) fermented (‘eaten’ and converted) by bacteria in the large intestine. It is, as it were, the food for these indispensable micro-organisms. A more than sufficient intake of these fermentable fibers is therefore important.
Dietary fiber is naturally found in vegetables, fruit, whole grains and legumes. Dietary guidelines indicate that 30 or even 40 grams of fiber per day is recommended. Unfortunately, the average fiber intake for adults is only about 20 grams per day. There is certainly room for improvement. One way to increase fiber intake is to use a fiber supplement as a supplement to a healthy and varied diet. Benicaros®: innovative and upcycled fibre from carrot pulp
Benicaros® is an innovative ingredient that consists of a special carrot fibre called rhamnogalacturonan-I (RG-I). The Dutch company NutriLeads has developed a patented production process that allows this fibre to be released from the cell walls of carrots. The raw material used is carrot pulp that remains as a by-product in the production of carrot juice produced in Europe. This makes Benicaros® a sustainable product. In collaboration with Wageningen University and Amsterdam UMC, several studies have been conducted that confirm the benefits of this so-called precision fibre.
Inavea™ Baobab and Acacia Fiber: Stronger Together
Acacia gum (also called gum arabic) is secreted from the bark of the Acacia seyal tree. It is similar to a resin, except that a gum is water-soluble and edible, unlike a resin. Acacia gum is naturally very rich in dietary fiber and suitable for various applications in food. Manufacturer Nexira is the absolute expert in the field of acacia gum, with decades of experience in growing, harvesting and processing it. The entire production chain is managed in-house, which offers many advantages. The company places great importance on sustainability and social entrepreneurship. No pesticides are used in the cultivation of the trees. The harvest and processing of the gum into purified acacia fibers also takes place in a sustainable manner.
The acacia fibers in Ultimate Fiber Blend are blended with baobab fibers by Nexira. The fruit of the famous African baobab (also called the ‘tree of life’) is also a rich source of dietary fibre. These two types of fibre complement each other perfectly. This ensures that a smaller amount of the two fibres separately is sufficient.
Sunfiber®: proven fibre from guar beans
The guar plant (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba) is grown in several parts of India, even in places where there is great drought. The beans and leaves of this plant have been part of the Indian diet for thousands of years. Guar beans are a rich source of soluble fermentable fibres. Sunfiber® is the brand name of guar bean fibres that obtain their superior user-friendly properties, such as excellent solubility in water, through the application of a natural fermentation process. Guar bean fibre is one of the fibre types that has been used most in scientific research. It should therefore not be missing from this Ultimate Fibre Blend.

Take 1 level scoop (10,85 grams) with a meal or as advised.
Mix the fiber with a large glass of water or another liquid. Let it rest for a moment to allow the fiber to dissolve completely.
It is also possible to add fiber to solid food or yoghurt and even may be added to warm food.
