What are amino acids?
Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, the second most common substance in the body after water and essential for many internal processes. Proteins are composed of chains of amino acids linked together in different combinations.
Amino acids are classified into two categories: essential and non-essential. The sixty percent of the amino acids that the human body can make of other amino acids we enter through our diet are considered non-essential; The remaining 40 percent must be obtained from nutrition is therefore essential.
Each amino acids has a very specific function in the body and sometimes there's a special need for supplementation, which is why so many amino acids are sold separately, e.g. lysine for better immunity, tryptophan for mood and arginine for muscle-bulding.
A number of amino acids and peptides such as beta-alanine, creatine, carnitine and glutathione also have their own category.
Pasio offers you a very complete range of amino acids with various therapeutic and / or pure muscle building properties.
