The WHO and its Pandemic Treaty: how will it affect our freedom?
On May 4th 2024 Dutch people commemorarte the brave men and women who fell during WW2 while fighting for our country.A day later, on May 5 we celebrate the liberation of and most of Europe from the Nazi Regime led by Adolf Hitler.
People in most of Europe were able to rebuild lives in freedom. Freedom from coercion and pursue a life of happiness and prosperity. For the most part we were more or less free from coercion, at least in Western Europe. In the former Eastern Bloc people were not so free, due to occupation by the Soviet Union. From WW2 onwards there was a stalemate aka Cold War which kept things in balance.
From May 5, 1945 onwards the new Europe would be shaped by founders like Schuman, Adenauer (albeit a devote Nazi officer in his past) and Alcide de Gasperi ,who were more or less following the classical liberal tradition mixed with social democratic elements, which favored elaborate welfare programs for the nation states, which formed this new “Free Western Europe”.
Something what some would call the Liberal Rules Based Order which morphed into something called the New World Order after the fall of the Soviet Union.
The new vision for (Western) Europe entailed the idea of sovereign European states defending private property rights and a free market economy in a Europe of open borders, thus enabling the free exchange of goods, services and ideas. This vision persisted for most of the next 5 decades but changed drastically after September 11, 2001.
From that day onwards, the way we would be governed changed significantly. No longer would that liberal vision prevail but governments would start imposing severe restrictions upon our freedoms while only paying lip service to those freedoms.
Four years ago, the WHO (World Health Organization) declared the outbreak of COVID19 as a life-threatening pandemic, resulting in drastic measures by governments worldwide to ‘flatten the curve’ in just two weeks by imposing a temporary lockdown, which was done by closing airports, schools, gyms, and almost all retail businesses except for the essential ones such as supermarkets. People weren’t allowed to visit sick and dying relatives. For most people, life suddenly felt like living in a prison.
In hindsight, those measures weren’t as necessary nor as effective as they were touted to be.
Whatever your opinion may be of those 4 years, it must be obvious by now the relationship between the government and citizens has changed. Before COVID, most of us still believed the government is acting in our best interest. After COVID most of that blind trust is eroded.
We have arrived at a moment in history where governments no longer adhere to the wishes and needs of its citizens but listen to the donor class of benevolent billionaires who fund the WHO and many other NGOs.
Bit by bit, the WHO takes over the role of national governments to make health policies in case of a pandemic. At the same time the requirement of a disease needing to have a high mortality rate to be declared a pandemic, was dropped. From now on, even mild diseases can be declared a pandemic. What’s more, even climate change can be seen as a health threat and therefore eligible as a pandemic. This entirely new point-of-view is what the WHO itself calls the ‘One Health’ approach.
What can we expect?
Under the New Pandemic Treaty which is supposed to be ratified later on this year, the WHO hopes to gain more power and legal ability to intervene in our health care systems and bypass national parliaments as parliaments will lose their power to make health laws that are suited to each individual nation. In case the Pandemic Treaty won’t be ratified, the WHO plans to make amendments to the existing International Health Regulations (IHR) to which each individual member nation already has agreed to in the past.
Regardless whether it is the Pandemic Treaty or the amended IHR, the result will mean more power for the WHO and less for democratically elected parliaments since WHO will change from an advisory body to a regulatory body. In short, a great loss of freedom to all of us.
Effects of the New Pandemic Treaty
In practice this will change the way how health care is provided and restrict your choices. You will have less power to choose your own doctor, undergo (or refrain from) medical treatments, such as a vaccination. There’s more. WHO wants to decide for you what over the counter drugs will be available to you at your drugstore, pharmacy, health food (web)store or local gym. This will result in far less available dietary supplements as we already are experiencing by the recent crackdown on ashwagandha , melatonin, DHEA, and NMN or effective dosages such as in vitamin D, K, and B6.
You need to remember freedom is not the same as hedonism. With freedom comes responsibility, a responsibility to take care of your own health and wellbeing.
While the WHO may once have been established with the right intentions, the current WHO is not led by physicians or scientists with a moral compass , but by people who have financial incentives to help the pharmaceutical industry and everyone else who financially benefits from these newly imposed regulations setup by the WHO and its true donors, the Pharmaceutical lobby and Big Finance.

For Dutch and Belgian citizens, I recommend this site https://stopwho.nl/who/pandemic-treaty/
Remember I wrote about the idea how sovereign states would defend private property rights, a free market economy etcetera? We mostly think of property rights in terms of material possessions, but it also encompasses the right to say NO to unwanted or non-essential (medical) treatments.
Without private property rights there is simply NO freedom. I hope you will exercise your rights to not be coerced into doing something you don’t want nor need. Therefore we urge you to write to your representative in Parliament and inform your private physician that you are opposed to this top-down approach of health care.
