VITALS PEA Pure with PEA (palmitoylethanolamide) is a fatty acid amide that belongs to the group of Nuclear Factor agonists and is made in the human body as a response to pain and inflammation. It is also found in food substances in small amounts, such as eggs, peanuts, soy, organ meat and fish.
Under certain conditions , it may be a good idea to ingest PEA as a supplement. Because PEA is bio-identical, it is absorbed very well from the intestines and transported to the tissues where it is needed. After it has been implemented , PEA is broken down into simpler elements.
In order to take the best advantage of PEA, it is important to choose for a high purity highly dosed supplement: each capsule contains no less than 400mg pure palmitoylethanolamide (PeaPure®) without any other additives.

VITALS recommends to take one capsule 3 times a day with a meal during the first 2 months You may also just take 2 capsules in the morning and one capsule at night.
Most will notice an improvement within 2 weeks. However VITALS recommends to use it for 2 entire months in order to get the optimum effect of PEA PUre.
From that moment on it becomes more obvious whether you should continue using PEA Pure.
When the result has been to satisfaction, most will be able to take a smaller dose of 1 capsule twice a day.
After 4 months you may consider to
• continue using one capsule twice a day
• diminish intake further to one capsule once a day
• stop using PEA Pure altogether
When you experience a negative effect from lowering the dose, increase it again to either twice or 3 times a day.

contra-indication
When having kidney or liver failure, it is a good idea to start with the smallest dose of just one capsule a day and build it up to 3 capsules in about a week time.
There has not been enough research done to to consider PEA Pure as safe during pregnancy, so it is adviced to not use it.
