AOR NMN-600 Nicotinamide Mononucleotide is found in all cells and is found naturally in immature soybean pods, legumes, cabbage, mushrooms and other fruits and vegetables. Vitamin B3 or niacin is a precursor to NAD+, though there are a number of steps in this conversion pathway. Various forms of vitamin B3, e.g., niacin, nicotinamide and the newer forms like nicotinamide riboside (NR), and nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) are also being investigated for their ability to upregulate NAD+ levels in various tissues. NMN appears to stand above the rest as a direct precursor to NAD+, compared to NR, which must first be converted into NMN before conversion into NAD+, so there is an additional step involved with NR. This additional step relied on the proper functioning of converting enzymes which might be limited or not functioning properly.
NMN is water soluble and has good bioavailability and absorption, it is in the plasma within 30 minutes. In addition, unlike NR, NMN is more stable in liquids. This makes NMN the NAD+ boosting molecule of choice. The appropriate dose can depend on various factors including individual health status, age, weight, and the specific goals for taking the supplement.
Increases blood and tissue levels of NAD+ for healthy aging
Directly increasing NAD+ levels to favor the NAD+/NADH ratio helps control metabolism and energy regulation in the body
Optimal energy production and utilization during activity
NMN increases the aerobic capacity of humans during exercise training, and the improvement is likely the result of enhanced O2 utilization of the skeletal muscle
Helps proper glucose utilization and improves insulin sensitivity of tissues and reduces insulin resistance
Moderately increases insulin secretion, insulin sensitivity and reduces insulin resistance to decrease risks for developing glucose dysregulation disorders like type 2 diabetes
Supports cardiovascular health including:
Heart health by reversing age-associated endothelial dysfunction along with protection of cardiomyocytes
Inflammation - helps reduce inflammatory molecules.
Enhances metabolites related to the cellular processes and environmental information processing functions which are mainly involved in amino acid metabolism, energy metabolism, cofactors/vitamins metabolisms, environmental adaptation, immune system, and xenobiotics biodegradation/metabolism
