SHIPPING COSTS & DELIVERY TIME
PasioOnline uses many different shipping methods in order to accommodate the various wishes from our customers.
On this page you can find all information we deem useful for you to know about the various shipping methods and delivery time.
PostNL is used for both domestic and international shipping. Small parcels that fit through the letter box or larger ones. Delivery happens at your home, at work, or a special pick up location either in daytime or at night.
Abroad delivery happens at the location you indicated.
DPD is a very cost-economic pick-up service, which is available for a growing amount of European countries. In some cases, it's also more economical than DHL Parcel and faster, too.
For inside the NLs, the lowest shipping rate we offer is for delivery to a DPD pick-up location.
When you wish to pick up your parcel, we will manually choose a location that is nearest to your home address. With equal distance, we will pick the one with the most convenient opening hours.
Once a selection is made, we will add the pick-up location to your address profile in order to speed up future orders. You may also make a request for a specific location.
Contact us when you want us to ship an order to a country that is not listed.
Once your parcel has been sent away, you will receive an email from us as well as from the courier service with a clickable tracking code.
When you opted for pick-up delivery, you will receive another email once your parcel arrives at the delivery location.
PostNL
Domestic shipping at PostNL is limited to 30kg for a parcel.
Below follows a table with the shipping rates of PostNL for most European countries based in the 'all-in' shipping method, which implies your parcel will receive a tracking number and is insured against loss.
By default, the standard shipping option implies that your parcel can be accepted by the neighbours too, upon which you should receive a note indicating where it was dropped off.
When you are rarely at home, and don't like using another address from friends or work, you can also use the option to have your parcel dropped off at the pick-up location.
If you didn't indicate a preference in the comments field, we will find you a suitable location and add this address to your user account for future use.
Within the Netherlands, we recommend you to choose a PostNL-pick-up location when it is very warm and you are buying probiotics, unless you are certain to be at home when your order is being delivered.
For parcels shipped abroad, there's a choice between small and large parcels.
While trackable, small parcels weighing less than 2 kg are treated as if it is regular mail and therefore, delivery takes more time.
Larger parcels will most likely be delivered faster, and are insured against loss.

DPD
When you choose DPD you can have your parcel delivered to your house address or to a pick-up location within Europe.
When you choose a pick-up location, we will select the nearest DPD-location for you. When in doubt, e.g. when the pick-up location is further than 5km away, we will contact you. The prices listed below are valid for a parcel with pick-up delivery.
There's no pick-up delivery possible for Bulgary, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Ireland, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia.

DHL Parcel
Shipping costs are often quite low with DHL Parcel, but with a downside of slower delivery. On the upside, a parcel is much easier to track compared to e.g. PostNL which transfers parcel to local postal services.
However, due to a poor customer serivce, we aren't offering DHL shipping at the moment.
DELIVERY TIME
The next table gives predicted delivery time as suggested by the parcel carriers PostNL, DPD and DHL in work days.
PostNL shipments are shipped from Monday to Friday at 16:00 hr as well as on Saturday at 13:00uur.
DPD shipments are shipped from Tuesday - Saturday at noon, therefore cut-off time for last order is 9-10 am
Please take notice that delivery time as listed below for DHL Parcel is mostly extended by another 2-4 days for the time needed in between NLs and the first sorting center in Germany as this is DHL's economical shipping service and NOT the express service.
